KIWIS. nom nom nom.
While making the fruit salad as my contribution for the work July 4th celebration, I’ve decided officially ….. that kiwis are my favorite fruit. It is too bad they come from Chile. I have a hard time feeling good about buying fruit that has to be shipped thousands of miles. So, I also decided… that along with a compost pile and goats, my dream house will have kiwi trees. And be near a city and a beach. (Thats not too much to ask, right?)

We (the Morning News crew) had a nice lunch/dinner at work because Mark and his wife brought in cook out stuff and dessert. It was a nice surprise since most holidays at work are just filled with bitterness and leftovers.
And just for good measure…
